Founding Product Designer (UI/UX)

Aurora (currently in Stealth) is building the Apple of lifestyle curation.

A new consumer product harnessing artificial intelligence and novel methods of interaction to enable the world's top performers & pioneers to master the art of living.

We’re well-funded by leading investors & operators, including Alex Macdonald, who co-founded and sold Velocity Black.

Our world-class team is looking for a founding UI/UX product design hire to help build out our flagship product.

You'll be the sole designer putting a life changing product in the hands of the people shaping the future of our world.

This role works directly with the CEO & CTO, and has the potential to quickly progress into an executive position.

Requirements

• A product thinker - you care about why you’re designing something and what impact it will have for the user
• Someone who has a design process that puts the human first. You use data and research where necessary, and validate design through testing
• You have an existing passion for or an interest in learning more about the worlds of conversational UI, bespoke design, and experiential interfaces
• A brilliant communicator - you can explain and rationalise the reasons for your design decisions, and can receive and give constructive feedback
• Able to work independently as part of a small team and directly with Founders / C-Suite on design projects
• Fluent in designing UI/UX for mobile devices and web experiences, with a strong portfolio of projects showing your interaction and visual design skills
• Someone who understands how digital products get built - you have 3+ years experience shipping them
• Self-assured & confident in building a deeply integrated advisory product which handles sensitive data for influential users who hold extremely high expectations
• Fluent in iOS and Android design and motion design
• Adaptable and willing to roll up your sleeves and work on other marketing design projects understanding we are an early-stage company
• Ideally living in or willing to move to the United States
