Job Responsibilities:
- Reconcile high-volume client and sub-client accounts daily, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between various data sources, including internal systems, bank statements, and client records.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues.
- Develop and maintain efficient reconciliation processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues and improve data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reconciliation reports and documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to account reconciliation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance operations processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a finance operations role with a focus on account reconciliation.
- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Experience with reconciliation software and ERP systems, such as Netsuite or other cloud-based solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the financial services or high-volume retail industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data query languages is preferred.
