Event Operations Staff play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events. The Event Operations Attendant will be responsible for event setup and breakdown, and collaborating with vendors and guests. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing any needs that arise. With a strong attention to detail, this position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a memorable experience for our residents and guests.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Event Setup and Breakdown:
- Assist in setting up event spaces, including audiovisual equipment, microphones, projectors, lighting, sound systems, tables, chairs, tents, signage, etc.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and that all event spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained throughout the event.
- Oversee the teardown of event spaces once the event has concluded.
Guest Registration and Check-In:
- Manage attendee check-in and direct guests to the appropriate areas.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure a positive experience.
Crowd Control and Safety:
- Help manage crowd flow and direct guests to designated areas, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with event managers, coordinators, and other staff members to ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Provide updates on progress and flag any issues for resolution.
Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive event experience.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Includes weekends, nights, and holidays as required.

- Able to work a flexible schedule.
Physical Abilities
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift moderate weight such as tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
