GetFPV is looking for a person with extensive experience in soldering and electronic component assembly. This position requires for the individual to be self motivated, able to read and understand electronic assembly instructions and takes great pride in their work.

Lumenier, formed in June 2013, and GetFPV.com, formed in 2010, design, manufacturer and distribute high-end drones and robotics equipment and components.

Lumenier and GetFPV.com sell to consumers, commercial companies and the military. Consumer drones are primarily used for cinematography, racing and hobby use. Small commercial drones have several potential uses such as search and rescue, surveillance, agriculture, inspection, mapping, and package delivery. It is estimated, that the drone market will grow from its current volume of $7.8B today to over $60B by 2020.

The planning algorithms running onboard the vehicle define its behavior, giving our drones their character. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the core motion planning software, touching everything from the low-level stabilization and control, to high level, task specific frameworks.

Requirements

• 2+ Years of soldering experience
• R/C Experience preferred
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to work with very small parts and components

• Clean and neat building habits (solder joints, wiring, etc.)
• Applicant must bring to the interview at least one example of his or her finished work (any airframe, electrical component project, or any other solder work with small wires)
