Director of Engineering - 140k+, Bonus, Relocation

Seeking someone with assertive and good energy levels, understanding capital improvements, construction, and all disciplines in the Engineer departments. Plumbing, Electric, Heating, Air-condition, and Historic Structure. Also, the other areas of a department of managing staff, payroll, scheduling, Budgets, and a good trainer. The engineering staff has over 12 team members and an assistant.

Compensation: Base Salary $140k+, 20% Bonus, and Strong relocation package including 30+days of temporary stay at the Hotel.

The property has been approved for a multi Million restoration project in all areas of the Hotel in 2022. Must have Historic hotel experience to be considered for this position Location: GA

Seeking an experience Hotel/Resort Engineer with a strong career background at least 5+years as a DOE Candidate should have good overall experience in all disciplines of maintance, Heating, Airconditioning, “Preventive Maintance” Some restorations, Captital projects, manage outside Contractors, Renovations, and will manage a staff of 6-9 Engineer

members. The property has over 140 Rooms, 8k sq ft of event space and is a Historic Hotel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects
• Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements
• Ensure compliance with security regulations
• Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines
• Prepare and manage the engineering department’s budget
• Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources
• Hire engineers and coordinate their training
• Implement innovative technologies
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools
• Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment

Requirements

• Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces
• Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
• Good understanding of agile methodologies
• Leadership abilities with a strategic mind
• Excellent project management skills
• BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
