Director of Accounting

Talent Brokers is seeking to hire a Director of Accounting for a growing company in the healthcare industry. This is a senior leadership position that is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization and leading the accounting team, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.

The responsibilities for this role include:

- Managing and leading the accounting team to achieve the company's financial goals and objectives.

- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements.

- Conducting cash flow analysis to ensure liquidity and financial resources.

- Preparing and reviewing financial reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.

- Collaborating with other managers to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.

- Analyzing and reconciling financial accounts.

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.

- Managing and maintaining relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.

- Developing and implementing accounting procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Providing training and support to accounting staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

- Seven or more years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the healthcare industry.

- Experience with ERP accounting systems.

- Ability to forecast budgets and financial performance, financial modeling, and managing cash flows.

- Experience with financial management and reporting, including balance sheet reconciliation.

- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and returns; audits.
