We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and diesel engine repair, with experience in operating heavy equipment and farm machinery. This role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs.
- Conduct inspections on vehicles to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.
- Repair or replace components such as fuel injectors, pumps, and exhaust systems.
Experience
- Proven experience in diesel engine repair is essential.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices, including inspections and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with farm machinery is a plus.
- Ability to solder electrical components when necessary.
- Knowledge of dealership operations is advantageous but not required.
