The Technology team at LandTech is a diverse mix of people spanning four disciplines - Product, Delivery, Engineering and Data. This role is part of the Data Team which plays a crucial role in steering the entire data journey that fuels our distinctive products and services. This dynamic team sources and validates data, enhances sources, expands into new markets, manages data supplier relationships, defines data products and services (including our core data platform), and consistently improves land and property data quality from acquisition to consumer provisioning.
THE ROLE
As a US Data Analyst, you will be working remote-first across many aspects of the LandTech set of products, reporting to the Data Product Manager..
The Data team at LandTech is the driving force in the expansion of our solutions, and innovation in the property development world. Many of our team previously worked at startups or scaled environments, but have joined LandTech to innovate, as we scale the business.
As a US Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in utilizing data to uncover valuable insights and contribute to the development of innovative data product features tailored for the US Market. Your expertise in property and land data within the US will be instrumental in ensuring that the data acquired aligns seamlessly with the business requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The success for this role will be based on a proficiency in the following areas:
- Lead in identifying, collecting and validating data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from gathered data, for the business and clients
- Uphold the integrity and quality of data through meticulous data stewardship, actively contributing to maintaining high data standards
- Support the end-to-end process of data, from specification to timely delivery
- Demonstrate US property and land data expertise and second-line support for queries raised by users
- Contribute to the development of data models and architecture
- Work with the Data Product Manager to produce and explore new data solutions for our users
Requirements
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Experience in SQL /Python
- Experience in Data Visualisation
- Experience in Complex Data Handling
- Experience in Geospatial data and GIS
Nice to have:
- Experience in urban planning, land development, real estate or related fields in the US
- Experience in a SaaS or product-focused environment
