Full Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for selling Flow Components products to existing customers and markets in power generation, food, mining, construction, chemical, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), transport, pulp and paper, marine and steel industries. MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SELLING HOSES OR GASKETS AND BE ABLE TO MAKE AT LEAST 10 SALES OR COLD CALLS DAILY.

Requirements
- Provides quality end-to-end customer service (sales call to follow-up on delivery) and ensures customer satisfaction.
- Promotes Flow Components products to existing markets in power generation, food, mining, construction, chemical, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), transport, pulp and paper, marine and steel industries.
- Handles sales calls and cold calls
- Prepares sales reports and expense reports.
- Makes phone calls to customers (and potential customers).
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from multiple sources.
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell company products and services.
- Determines customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Recommends alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
- Recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
- Identifies trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
- Maintains proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
- Presents a professional image to customers and vendors.
