Full Job Description
The Builder Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for growing the Beko and Blomberg brands in the Builder Channel overseeing a defined geographic area. The BDM will collaborate with Director of Builder Sales, Sales Directors, Operations, and Sales teams to create and bring to life a winning Contract Strategy, along with creation and execution of tools required to drive breakthrough growth in this critical sales channel. The Builder Development Manager will be responsible for sales and account management, strategy implementation, sales plan results, and forecasts for a defined geographic sales team (ASMs). The BDMwill be responsible for growth of not only existing customers, but the signing and onboarding of new customers both individually and through ASMs. This role requires the ability to serve as both a team leader, strategist, and hands-on contributor – involved in both strategy design and sales execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive team to exceed Builder Channel revenue, margin, share and customer satisfaction goals.
- Responsible for selling, promoting, and strategy execution to new and existing ABDs (Builder Distributors), Single Family & Multi-Family Builders, Remodelers, Property Management, and influencers in designated geography
- Specific focus on prioritizing high level strategic Key Acct relationships
- Develop ABD customer relationships including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calls, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
- Engage Influencers (Architects, Designers, Specifiers, NAHB, Associations) in Beko’s Contract Strategy – Create Brand Ambassadors.
- Partner with Operations and Sales Team to develop and execute critical Contract GTM tools: Quote tool & Quote rules, CRM & Lead Management (Pipeline) Tools (SalesForce), Ranking Reports, Forecasting, Contract Focused Presentation Tools, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Marketing organizations to create and execute contract channel specific pricing, programs, and go to market tools that align with business, segment, and customer goals
- Contract Coach and Mentor to ASMs, make Winning at Builder an infectious passion throughout the organization
- Proven Customer Advocate – Keep the Customer in the center of all we do
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ previous outside sales experience is required; 5+ years previous sales experience is preferred
- Project Management Skills- demonstrated ability to lead projects that are sales and customer focused.
- Recent experience in the home appliance industry highly desirable
- Budget/ P&L Management Experience
- Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred
- Frequent local and overnight travel required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
