The Barn Crew plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of our patients by maintaining the cleanliness of the barns and surrounding areas. We are looking for dedicated and reliable individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean occupied stalls by removing waste and soiled bedding materials like straw, hay, or shavings.
• Strip, wash, sanitize, and disinfect stalls, including walls, floors, doors, and windows, post patient discharge.
• Clean, rinse, and refill all water tubs.
• Distribute hay, feed, and bedding materials to the barns.
• Perform landscaping duties, including mowing, edging, weed eating, and plant/tree trimming in the facility and student housing areas.

This is a full-time position that requires working one weekend day per week, with a starting pay of $14.00/hour.

Requirements

• Prior experience handling or working around horses is essential.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces.
• Physical stamina for frequent walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching overhead.
• Capability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with driving tractors and operating various farm and landscape equipment.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to maintaining the well-being and comfort of the patients.
