Job Title: Audit Supervisor – Public Accounting

Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Audit Supervisor with a solid background in public accounting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on audit experience and a commitment to professional growth, including pursuing CPA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits for clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, workpapers, and other audit documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide insights into their financial operations.
• Stay informed of updates to accounting and auditing standards.
• Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Public Accounting Experience: Recent and relevant experience in a public accounting firm is required.
• Exclusions: Internal audit, DoD auditing, or government auditing experience is not applicable.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience performing audit work, not solely managing engagements (especially for candidates from large firms).
• Certification: Actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Experience: Minimum of two busy seasons as a Senior Auditor.
• Specialized Knowledge: Nonprofit (NFP) and Single Audit experience is preferred, with a demonstrated willingness to learn these areas.
