Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Auditor/Audit Manager with a strong background in public accounting, specializing in Nonprofit (NFP) and Single Audits. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise, a proactive approach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits for Nonprofit (NFP) organizations, including Single Audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and audit documentation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their operations and provide valuable insights.
• Stay updated on current accounting and auditing standards.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Public Accounting Experience: Recent and relevant experience in a public accounting firm is mandatory.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience performing audit work, not just managing engagements.
• Certifications: Active and current CPA license is required.
• Specialized Knowledge: Nonprofit (NFP) and Single Audit experience is essential.
• Experience: 7-8 busy seasons with a proven track record of consistent advancement in public accounting.
• Exclusions: Internal audit, DoD auditing, or government auditing experience is not applicable.
