Responsibilities:

As a Veterinarian at Marianna Animal Hospital, you will be responsible for:

Comprehensive Veterinary Care: Diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small companion animals with a focus on dogs, cats, and some wildlife.

Surgical Procedures: Performing surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients.

Preventive Medicine: Advocating and providing preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and wellness programs.

Client Communication: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with pet owners, providing education on proper pet care, and addressing any questions or concerns.

Wildlife Care: Extending our expertise to treat and care for some wildlife in need of veterinary attention.

Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with our skilled support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital and the delivery of exceptional veterinary services.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • State Veterinary Board license in good standing.
  • Strong surgical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for providing compassionate and comprehensive veterinary care.
  • Experience or interest in treating wildlife is a plus.
