ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Airspace Manager to join our team. As an Airspace Manager at ARETUM, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing airspace utilization to support safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
- Create, plan, and maintain Airspace Groups and ACMs to support replicated air missions.
- Modify, backup, recover, and delete computer-based Groups, ACMs, files, and databases.
- Develop databases and computer-based scenarios that accurately reflect Airspace Management Team functions.
- Generate and modify Airspace Coordination Order (ACO) files to support current operational weapons systems, including the Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) during training, testing, and exercise events.
- Identify and resolve conflicts with Airspace Control Means Requests (ACMREQs) to ensure seamless airspace integration and deconfliction.
Coordination and Collaboration:
- Assist in the development and delivery of planning materials related to the Air Operations Directive (AOD), Air Tasking Order (ATO), and ACO software file and programming products.
- Coordinate with AOC Red Cell (RC) and White Force personnel regarding changes to exercise scenarios that necessitate updates to the ACO.
- Provide input on airspace considerations during ATO development and execution, including the ATO Change process.
- Ensure real-time airspace Command and Control (C2) is integrated and coordinated with air, space, and cyber replication cells for transparent execution during training events.
- Collaborate with civilian Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems and ensure that exercise planning includes all necessary civilian ATC requirements.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize and maintain current operational weapons systems, such as ASMA-FP and TBMCS Web-Based Airspace Deconfliction (WEBAD) services.
- Provide expertise in operating within replicated ATC and civil airspace systems, ensuring all ATC, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and other airspace user requirements are met during exercises.
Requirements
- BS, preferred, 3 – 5 year (required)
- Extensive Knowledge of doctrinal AOC airspace cell processes.
- Experience with airspace management in training and operational environments.
- Proficiency in utilizing TBMCS, WEBAD, and related airspace deconfliction tools.
- Strong coordination and communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in military or government airspace management roles.
- Familiarity with ASMA-FP and related operational weapons systems.
- Understanding of civilian ATC systems and integration into military operations.
