Ventrata is excited to announce we are recruiting for a skilled, US-based Account Executive with a love of tours and attractions to drive new sales growth in the United States. Our product is changing the way tours and tickets are sold across the planet.

This rewarding new role will be integral to our growth trajectory. If you're excited about working in a fast-growth, scale-up environment with cutting-edge products that can remove friction and maximize revenue opportunities in the leisure and tourism industries, then this is the role for you.

The role is remote and will be based in US. For consideration, it's expected that you should be based in, or able to work during, the office hours of the target region. Additionally, you will be traveling to your sales territory for regular customer visit at least once a month.

Founded in late 2016, Ventrata aims to be the Google of the travel industry — the SaaS solution everyone relies on. We provide technology in all channels with a one-stop-shop ticketing, management and operational solution for attractions, tours and activity suppliers.

Despite the challenging environment, Ventrata continues to grow in double digits. During the global pandemic, many attractions have restructured and upgraded their technology. For Ventrata, this has driven a growth rate of 6x — from $80m in ticket sales in 2019 to more than $900m in 2022.

Ventrata is an enterprise ticketing platform designed for high-volume attraction, tour, and activity operators. Our all-in-one platform powers online, in-person, & third-party sales, and provides robust functionality around resource management, hardware integrations, and 24/7 live support. Ventrata's solutions are trusted by some of the biggest names in the industry: Big Bus Tours, Empire State Building, Sightseeing Pass, Tootbus, Historic Tours of America, Boston Duck Tours, Magnicity, Pilsner Urquell Experience, Fat Tire Tours, Museum of Illusions, multiple Gray Line and City Sightseeing operators, and more.

Ventrata has been profitable since 2018 and holds substantial private backing. There have been two successful rounds of funding prior to coronavirus. No funding has been required to maintain operations through the period. Our team is based in Czechia, UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Croatia, Nigeria and the US.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process across North America and win new businesses over. Building strong relationships with key decision-makers in attractions, tours, HOHO buses and cultural sites, you’ll help us bring our solution to life for them.
  • Hit your business targets and identify opportunities to position the Ventrata solution effectively and enhance the value proposition to your target markets.
  • Develop  a deep understanding of market segments, competition and emerging trends.
  • Become an internal voice of industry and the client to share product feedback and insights from sales engagements.
  • Working with a sales development representative, develop and execute sales campaigns.
  • Partner with Ventrata’s Customer Success team to ensure we exceed new customer expectations.The first 90 days are crucial. 
  • Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to create and share content that raises our brand awareness and opens up new business opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast and report revenue projections to leadership and consistently deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy in Hubspot.

Requirements

  • Native English speaker or at least 5 years selling in native English-speaking markets (C1 as a minimum) 
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus, not a requirement
  • Can demonstrate history of achieving quotas of $600k, selling into enterprise markets
  • Must reside within the continental US or Canada
  • Willing and able to travel regularly to potential client sites and tradeshows
  • Current passport and able to travel internationally infrequently
  • SaaS-related and industry sales experience preferred
  • Direct experience working within attractions in a sales role
  • Sales account planning skills and the patience to deliver against the plan
  • Display creative and analytical problem-solving skills with an unrelenting passion for achieving revenue targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and can manage their time, pipeline and direct efforts of an SDR

For this position, we offer a competitive salary of $ 5000 - 6000 monthly based on candidate skills and experience.
