3. Miami Based - Paralegal for Trust, Probate & Estate Planning

We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estate/Probate Paralegal to join our high-volume legal team in Downtown Miami. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives under pressure and is skilled in managing complex litigation and e-filing with the courts. A background in trust and estate (T&E) or probate litigation is preferred, but we are open to training candidates with a solid litigation background.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in trust, estate, and probate matters through case preparation, drafting legal documents, and e-filing with the courts.
• Conduct research, manage case files, and ensure compliance with all filing deadlines.
• Assist with commercial litigation and insurance defense cases, as applicable.
• Maintain communication with clients and court personnel, providing timely updates and gathering required information.
• Utilize legal software (NetDocs, Tabs 3) for case management and documentation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in litigation, with trust and estate/probate experience preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in e-filing with the courts and handling high-volume caseloads.
• Experience in commercial litigation or insurance defense is a plus.
• 5+ years of paralegal experience.
• Background in trust and estate/probate litigation.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Familiarity with NetDocs and Tabs 3 for efficient document management and billing.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2 days in-office and 3 days working from home
