Senior Front-end Developer

Overview

We are on the hunt for a creative and experienced Front-End Developer to become a vital member of our product squad. This role is designed for a developer who is adept in modern web technologies and possesses a strong penchant for crafting visually appealing and highly functional user interfaces. The main initial objective will be to spearhead the migration of our existing web application from a blend of CoffeeScript and TypeScript to a React framework, with Tailwind CSS for styling, ensuring the end product is nothing short of perfection.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of our existing web application to a React and Tailwind CSS based framework, ensuring a seamless transition.
• Work directly with UX/UI designs from Figma, translating them into pixel-perfect web experiences that are responsive and adaptive across all devices and browsers.
• Become an integral part of the product squad, owning all aspects of front-end development, from conception through to deployment.
• Integrate and enhance CI/CD pipelines, ensuring an efficient and reliable deployment process.
• Drive the front-end development agenda, advocating for best practices, optimal design solutions, and innovative approaches to meet the business needs.
• Maintain a laser focus on performance, scalability, and optimization, ensuring the application is not only beautiful but blazing fast.
• Engage in proactive collaboration with both design and back-end teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated product.
• Embrace the challenge of staying ahead of the curve, constantly learning and applying the latest front-end development trends and technologies.

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise in CoffeeScript, TypeScript, and React.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in CoffeeScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Proven experience with Figma and a track record of implementing high-fidelity designs with meticulous attention to detail.
• Mastery of Tailwind CSS, with the ability to craft scalable and maintainable styling solutions.
• A passion for pixel-perfect design implementation, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Solid experience in optimizing CI/CD pipelines for front-end deployments.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, with the ability to create fluid and engaging user experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for tackling challenges creatively and efficiently.
• Outstanding communication skills, thriving in a team environment and capable of bridging technical and non-technical worlds.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Jekyll or similar static site generators.
• Bonus: Experience with Selenium or similar front end testing frameworks.
