Full Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in the department's operation. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary. The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, forecast revenue, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of project.

- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish project intent and then to align all internal resources with the plan.
- Development of Sub-Contractor scope of work documentation.
- Manage contracts and subcontracts.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities.
- Oversee and manage change order process of project.
- Forecast and track for accuracy all assigned project revenues.
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Materials Specification, Ordering, Tracking and Installation support.
- Schedule and manage start-up, installation, and commissioning.
- Responsible for all Project Related and Customer Required Documentation, to include at a minimum; Submittals, RFI’s, Schedule, Safety Compliance, Commissioning and/or Validation.
- Maintain up to date As-Built documentation throughout project lifecycle. Coordinate final Turnover Package to Owner to include, Design documentations, System Backup, Recover and General Use Training, Warranty and Service Department turnover.
- Responsible for Monthly Invoicing and Project Forecasting.
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
- Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
- Support employee engagement, training, and development in the key areas of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Support the field team including supervisors and technicians.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies.
- Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiency.
- Develop a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.
- Drive a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Construction Project Management.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Enhance department by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Experience with HVAC and Mechanical System Checkout, Startup and System Commissioning.
- Ability to interpret design documentation.
- Strong computer skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Project.
