Full Job Description
We're looking for Production/Finishing Operators for DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS and help us ensure that our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition to our customers.
Starting pay is $20 per hour for day shift and $21 per hour for night shifts. The position is temporary to start with a possible extension.
As a Shipping Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform all gathering, weighing, and packaging duties for the different equipment throughout manufacturing including the computer control system software.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide input to supervision/management.
- Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping throughout the facility and participate in 5s activities.
- Perform all duties in such a manner as to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and in accordance with the Quality Management System guidelines, including maintaining proper documentation in all work areas.
- Assist co-workers and promote a team environment while using effective communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned by a supervisor, lead employee, or other member of management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of production experience.
- Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
