Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeping

Aspire Medical Staffing is currently hiring Environmental Services Workers/Housekeeping to provide services at the Wilmington VA Medical Center (WVAMC). As an Environmental Services Worker, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces. You will be responsible for proper waste management, disinfection of surfaces, and following established cleaning procedures and protocols.

4-8 month assignment

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday

• 7am-3pm
• 3pm-11:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or environmental services preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and chemicals
