Full Job Description
Our client, a $1B manufacturer with locations throughout the US, is seeking a Training Specialist.
· There are already curricula in place for all programs from entry-level, service, engineering, and leadership development which must be tweaked and formalized for each program.
· Some content will be outsourced or provided by the various departments; some will be personally delivered.
· Will be the coordinator for all training programs. Limited travel to other sites on occasion.
· Must have excellent communication and coordination skills and will be dealing with management, executives, and vendors to provide all training programs.
Requirements
- Must have excellent communication and coordination skills
- BS/BA Degree
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
- 1-2 years of professional training experience required (i.e., content creation, needs analysis, and training delivery).
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles.
- Solid understanding of current training modalities (virtual, e-learning and AI)
- Strong business writing skills.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- High energy and engaging; enjoys working and interacting with people.
- Highly collaborative; strong customer-service orientation
- Very hands-on; comfortable with handling details and administrative duties.
- Strong listening skills
