About You

We’re seeking a result-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our S&OP Sr Manager Global. Based out of our Torrington Connecticut location, you will continuously improve, nurture, and manage global Supply initiatives by managing globalized teams in structuring the end-to-end supply chain to provide outstanding on-time fulfillment of customer Service Levels Agreements while balancing working capital and contribution margin targets. Also, by business partnering with the Commercial team to organize global product delivery readiness, and leading the processes of demand and contingency planning, product generation, and integrated inventory positioning and controls

In addition, you will:

  • Manage business requirements to design a best-in-class supply process by business partnering with BU Director, Engineering, and Production Management in converting SLA requirements into supply chain setups.  Also, by providing subject matter expertise on Supply Chain and S&OP best practices
  • Develop innovative, customer-advocating, high-performing Supply Chain teams by using strong leadership and judgment skills to acquire, develop, coach, manage and performance manage talented, visionary, creative S&OP and Inventory Management managers and employees
  • Develop a harmonized, responsive globally integrated S&OP structure by designing overall operations and communication flows, leading the planning teams, and managing the readiness of end-to-end product generation processes
  • Create a sustainable, robust Supply Chain for our products by assessing specific product characteristics and value creation capabilities across the entire supply network, and by developing and utilizing end-to-end supply chain segmentation to detect and evaluate risk as well as to derive mitigation strategies.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and control global Supply performance efficiencies by planning, simulating, and assessing potential inventory and supply disruptions and bottlenecks over a 24-month window, and developing and managing contingency planning and remedial actions
  • Determine individual product supply chain setups by mapping and matching the global quantity model with the respective product-customer supply chain characteristics. Also, by driving strategies and parameters for meeting SLA requirements
  • Establish and maintain global Supply Chain guidelines and structures by creating and managing cross-functional strategies and policies for Inventory, Planning, Procurement, Production, Distribution, Phase in/out, Transportation, Distribution, and Replenishment

Requirements

You should have:

  • University degree, such as an MBA, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • Black Belt Six Sigma, Lean Management, or APICS certification
  • Advanced experience in ERP set-up of global supply networks; JD Edwards E1 preferred
  • Working in manufacturing environment
  • 8+ years in progressive Supply Chain Management including experience in distribution, planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics and mapping of business processes to tier 1 ERP systems
  • 3+ years people management experience. Must have a proven track record in people management
  • Excellent leadership and negotiations skills – works well across all functions and groups in a globally matrixed organization, inspires people
  • Strong problem-solving skills and drive for continuous improvement
  • Travel up to 15%, including internationally. This is a hybrid role which requires at least 3 days per week onsite at our Torrington, CT site.

Salary Range: $107,022 - $136,122

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
