PeopleSoft Functional SME

As a PeopleSoft Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Apex Informatics, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for customizations and configurations in PeopleSoft applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting workshops with business users to gather requirements and document business processes
• Providing functional expertise and guidance in configuring, testing, and implementing PeopleSoft enhancements
• Collaborating with technical teams to ensure successful development and deployment of customizations
• Performing system testing to validate configured solutions and support user acceptance testing
• Providing training and support to end-users on new system functionalities
• Participating in ongoing support and maintenance activities, including issue resolution and system enhancements

Requirements

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Functional SME
• Strong knowledge of one or more PeopleSoft modules, such as HR, Finance, or Supply Chain
• Experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, and Application Engine
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft configuration and customization
• Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade and implementation projects is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
