Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aerospace & Defense industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Administrator to join our team. As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the manufacturing department and assist in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain manufacturing-related documentation, such as work orders, production reports, and quality records
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and other manufacturing-related events
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of production schedules and capacity planning
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and materials
- Assist in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements and initiatives
- Collect and compile data for manufacturing performance metrics and reports
- Conduct data entry and maintain databases related to manufacturing processes
- Identify and report any issues or concerns related to manufacturing processes to management
- Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing department as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus
