As a Service Technician, you will be an important and exciting part of our continued growth path. The Service Team is responsible for the support and administration of cloud and on-premise based solutions for current and prospective clients. This includes, but is not limited to, Office 365 including Teams and SharePoint, Entra ID, Co-Pilot, Virtual Servers, Networking Devices, Microsoft security products, VDI, mobile device management and cloud backup solutions. We are looking for a strong team player who has solid infrastructure and networking support skills working with Windows, VMware and various technologies. They must be able to solve technical issues, automate and root cause persistent issues, document and grow internal knowledge bases, and also have the desire to learn much more. Requirements

  • Assist with the troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical administration of client technology solutions from CorCystems' cloud and on-premise offerings.
  • Evaluate products and solutions that will help clients increase efficiencies, scalability, productivity and enhance security.
  • Assist with project rollouts with the Project Team to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Troubleshoot on-premise solutions with members of the Proactive Team.
  • Research best practices for design, implementation, and security for cloud and on-premise solutions that CorCystems provides.
  • Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of service/incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, or agreed outages.
  • Support for client computer networks including business related technologies including Windows operating systems, Office 365, Remote Access usage, VOIP, mobile devices, etc.
  • Support disaster recovery backup solutions.
  • Work with vendors/partners as needed to resolve client issues.
  • Work on firewall and switch issues to troubleshoot and correct network issues as required.
  • Troubleshoot server and network issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Provide escalated support to other team members on both the proactive and reactive teams.
  • Provide detailed documentation and explain resolutions for escalated issues.
  • Participate in team training/collaboration where relevant.

  • Work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Mentor more junior technicians to help them learn.
  • Responsible for entering all work performed and time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur.
  • Work through a daily schedule in ConnectWise that has been established through the dispatch process.
  • Maintain certifications required for position.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Experience working in ConnectWise suite of tools, Manage, Automate, Connect a major plus.
