Base salary $125-150K
Our client, a nationally recognized Architecture, Engineering, Energy Efficiency and Construction Management firm is searching for an Engineering Manager to join its team. In this role, you will collaborate with private and public entities to holistically approach facility and infrastructure projects, partnering with in-house experts on technically complex projects. Top candidates will be experienced Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineers with proven experience driving cross-functional technical projects along with managerial and business development skills.
Job Duties include:
- Lead the development of construction documents, supporting bidding and construction activities, particularly during implementation
- Partner with program and department managers, design and project teams, and construction managers to ensure projects are successfully completed
- Mentor the firm's regional clean energy engineering team
- Business Development for clean energy projects in the geographic region
- Preliminary systems assessment and high-level project strategy development
- Develop the framework for design scopes of work, schematics and P&ID drawings
- QA/QC on assigned tasks and projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- Active PE license
- Expertise in multiple technical areas of Mechanical, Electrical and Energy Engineering
- Experience developing MEP and energy projects
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD or Revit, and Building Modeling Software
