As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented VP of Growth to join our team. 

Your Purpose: 

As the VP of Growth, you will play a pivotal role in refining and executing our commercial strategy, with a special focus on developing our Earned, Owned, and Paid channels. You will collaborate with our global team to elevate our brand presence, ensuring that Naked Wines is synonymous with premium quality and unmatched value. Additionally, you will oversee our US-based Marketing, Growth / New Business teams. This position requires a balance of creative strategy and analytical rigor, using insights to drive brand development and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

EOP Channel Strategy: Direct accountability for leading, developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for Earned, Owned, and Paid media channels, ensuring cohesive messaging and brand consistency. Drive content excellence across all platforms, enhancing customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Brand Positioning: Collaborate with global and local teams on the brand's evolution into a more premium space, crafting narratives that transcend price-based conversations and highlight the unique value and quality of our wines. Utilize storytelling to build a strong emotional connection with our audience. Assist with developing our global brand team, while leading the local implementations in the US market.

Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics to gain deep insights into customer behavior and market trends, optimizing channel performance and ROI. Implement a rigorous test-and-learn methodology to refine tactics and strategies across EOP channels.

Collaborative Leadership: Foster close collaboration between the sales and marketing teams and other departments, ensuring alignment with the broader commercial strategy. Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive brand coherence and market penetration.

Innovative Campaigns: Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns that effectively use Earned, Owned, and Paid channels to achieve business objectives. Emphasize creativity and experimentation, particularly in digital and social media marketing, to engage premium segments.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including winemakers, industry influencers, and partners, to amplify our brand's presence and prestige in the premium market segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing roles
  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing leadership, preferably within the DTC space and luxury or premium product categories.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies across Earned, Owned, and Paid channels.
  • Evidence of having implemented a content strategy that has been delivered.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with a track record of leveraging data to inform strategy and drive commercial success.
  • Exceptional storytelling and brand development skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that elevate brand perception.
  • Inspirational leadership style, capable of motivating teams towards innovation and excellence.
  • Deep understanding of the wine industry and a passion for disrupting traditional market dynamics.
  • Must be able to work in either Denver or Napa office 3 days a week
  • Must live in CO/CA for payroll tax purposes
  • Willingness to travel (Napa & Denver)
  • Able to work legally in the United States. (Work authorization sponsorship is not provided for this role by Naked Wines)

Benefits

  • Compensation: $250,000
  • Annual discretionary bonus- up to 25%
  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 90% employee coverage, 60% dependent coverage. Eligible Day 1.
  • Holiday allowance - 34 days of paid time off, including 20 days of accrued paid time off (PTO) and 12 paid company holidays. Paid time off also includes your Birthday, plus one additional day for Volunteer Efforts.

  • Gym contribution - Up to $25 a month towards a gym membership
  • Personal Pathways - The company will pay up to $500 annually towards job-related training or education of your choosing.
