Tax Professional

Hire Resolve's client is in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Professional to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch tax services to clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing tax returns, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with clients to develop effective tax strategies. You will also be tasked with assisting clients during tax audits and inquiries while keeping up-to-date with tax law changes.

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A background in accounting or finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax issues and solutions
• Develop tax strategies to optimize client tax situations
• Assist clients during tax audits and respond to inquiries
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planning
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
• Experience with tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries) is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
