Full Job Description
As the Procurement Specialist at Scout, you will play a vital role in supporting one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. Your attention to detail in processes will help ensure that Scout adheres to important internal controls smoothly.
You will be a part of Scout's Procurement team, which is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and accurate procurement-to-pay process. You will report to the Head of Procurement, a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in the field and a passion for teamwork, achievement, and continuous learning.
This is a new position created to accommodate the rapid growth in Scout's portfolio of development and construction projects.
Key duties in your role will include the following:
- Ensure a smooth and accurate procurement-to-pay process by continuing to interact with other stakeholders during the procurement cycle.
- Support purchase requisition creation, execute sourcing cycle quality control, purchase order input, record keeping, and invoice troubleshooting all in Oracle Fusion ERP for non-strategic procurement process.
- Extract ad-hoc procurement related reports in Oracle Fusion ERP
- Act as the subject matter expert of procurement related transactions in Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Support and actively propose Procurement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements
You are a detail-oriented, quality driven minded professional who likes to work with a wide range of people and is passionate about the ways that renewable energy will make the world a better place. You have a good understanding of an ERP environment and driven to execute processes precisely.
Subject Matter Expertise
- A Bachelor’s degree. (Degrees in supply chain, business, accounting and certification are a plus.)
- Strong detail orientation with quality driven approach.
- 1+ years of procurement experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- Highly proficient in ERP application and Microsoft 365 suite.

- Strong organizational skills with process orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work product in multiple areas without direct supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties.

- Authorized to work in the United States.
Timeline and Location
We would like the new Tactical Procurement Specialist to start in Q1 2025.
The ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office on our current hybrid schedule.

Benefits
Target base salary: $60,000 - $85,000. Attractive bonus potential.
