Service Technician

As a Service Technician at Prescott's, Inc, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections on medical equipment. You will work closely with the service team to ensure that equipment is functioning optimally and meets regulatory requirements. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our company and the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on medical equipment, including surgical microscopes.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure that repairs and maintenance are performed according to manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide technical support to customers over the phone or through remote assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2+ years of experience in equipment repair, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of medical equipment repair and maintenance procedures a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 40 pounds).
