We support customers throughout the Department of Defense and U.S. Government in building innovative new tools to deliver unique, world-class data exploitation capabilities.
SciTec is seeking a technical program manager for an agile software development program executed from our Boulder, CO office. The program manager is responsible for program cost, schedule and technical performance. Additionally, the program manager is the primary interface to the customer to ensure satisfaction on the current program and build relationships for future efforts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall contract performance, planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of all program functions and respective baselines (business, technical, fiscal, administrative)
- Oversees the subcontractor support teams across the entirety of the scope
- Monitors and reports to internal leadership on the progress of all program activity, including significant milestones, and risks and opportunities for cost and schedule
- Serves as the primary point of contact authorized to interface with the Government contracting officer and Agreement Officer representative
- Develops Program Execution Plan and support the development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that incorporates all dependencies and identifies program milestones aligned with contractual need dates
- Ensures timely delivery of all required program deliverables
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
The following minimum qualifications are required for the position:
- A Bachelor's degree in the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
- 15+ years’ US Government or industry experience managing Government Technical Programs
- Strong team-building, time-management, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written communication, briefing, and presentation skills
- Ability to interact, brief and develop positive relationships with both customer and company senior leadership
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, marketing knowledge, and literacy in the program management disciplines
- Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher
- Detail oriented
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:
- Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) ground processing domain knowledge
- Experience with Agile principals (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban, etc.)
- Subcontractor management

The salary range for this position is $169,000-$225,000; however, SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
