Senior Hydrogeologist

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Senior Hydrogeologist in Englewood, CO.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities will be to develop conceptual site models and numerical groundwater models. Responsibilities will also include developing and managing the technical scope of work and field investigation activities such as drilling supervision, well construction, aquifer testing, packer testing, vibrating wire piezometer installation, surface and downhole geophysics, and groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring.
• Prepare accurate and professional technical reports and presentations.
• Completion and project management of team-based project work, resulting in client satisfaction and the on-time completion of high-quality technical work products.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: A Master’s Degree in Hydrogeology or related fields such as geology, hydrology, hydrochemistry, civil/geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, and water resource engineering.
• Experience Requirement: 8 to 14 years of experience working in the mining or water supply sectors. Specific experience relating to mine water management is advantageous.
• Computer Software: Proficiency using Access, AQTESOLV, GIS software, and GW Vistas / MODFLOW is required. Proficiency using modeling programs such as FEFLOW, GoldSim, and Leapfrog is advantageous, as is experience with VBA, python, or any other scripting language.
• Required Registrations/Professional Designations: Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer registration is advantageous.
