Research Scientist (Relocation available)

Our client provides best-in-class technology solving some of our country’s greatest defense challenges in air and missile defense. They are growing their team significantly in 2024 and are seeking to add experienced Research Scientists to their team!

This position is based in Fort Collins, CO. Relocation assistance is available.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create mathematically principled solutions to some of the world's most challenging information science problems
• Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile environment
• Implement high-performance software (from tactical systems to web applications)
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments, innovative analysis tools, and flexible compute clusters to quantify the benefit of the technology
• Contribute to the direction of a small, talented team with your expertise and ideas

Requirements

• M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Statistics and Probability, or related field

• 3+ yrs directly related professional experience (outside of academia)
• Demonstrated experience in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Scientific Computing and Probability
• Proof of academic excellence (3.5+ GPA)
• Due to the nature of this work, applicants must be eligible to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, which requires candidates meet the following:
• U.S. Citizen
• Personal history indicating trustworthiness, reliability, and sound judgement (e.g. clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.)
