As a Project Engineer, your main responsibility will be to offer timely support to the Executive Project Management Team (EPM) and field supervisors. In this role, you will assist the EPM in all project-related activities, ensuring the timely, accurate, and professional accomplishment of established goals and objectives. Your duties will be carried out in accordance with project demands, contract specifications, schedules, and governing codes.

Essential Functions:

  • Strong focus on customer service and building positive relationships with assigned EPM and Field Supervisors.
  • Utilize and optimize various Project Management systems.
  • Set up and forecast production and progress within Construction Management Platform.
  • Represent the company at bid/project meetings periodically.
  • Review customer RFQ's and prepare accurate estimates.
  • Become technical expert on industry guiding documents.
  • Establish new projects as directed by EPM.
  • Coordinate development of pre-job safety and quality packages.
  • Build and update project schedules, initiate drawing requests, and perform document review/approval/re-issue process.
  • Order project materials and arrange/manage subcontracted work.
  • Arrange for shipping and transportation of items to job site.
  • Prepare and transmit Site Supervisor information packages.
  • Perform timely reviews/research/resolution/approvals of third-party charges/invoices.
  • Provide timely technical assistance and issue resolution for Field Supervisors.
  • Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and prompt issuance/resolution of change orders.
  • Prepare monthly invoices and ensure timely job closures.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Manage heavy workloads and prioritize multiple project tasks.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing schedules
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and interpersonal abilities, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with field/shop personnel, management, and administrative staff
