Precision Grinder/Stainless Steel Polisher

Our Precision Grinder/Stainless Steel Polisher position takes rough, scratched, or welded stainless steel, and finishes them to look like casted-quality (never-been-welded) products with consistent polish. We are looking for people that have an eye for visual detail, and take great pride doing detailed work.

We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, has a positive attitude and works well in a team. Great attention to detail, high quality standards, consistent performance and a team player.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational/trade school good, too
• 2-5 years proven experience as polisher/precision grinder
• Regular scheduled attendance
• Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group
• Knowledge of polishing and finishing the following materials; Aluminum, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
• Proficient in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a dedicated, full-time position. The standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 40 hours per week.

This position is an in-house position, where it is expected you are able to work from the warehouse 5 days/week.
