We have created a top-down, offtake-focused development company with the reach and funding to bring projects to fruition. Based in Denver Colorado, we develop solar and storage projects from inception through to COD. We’re a small, fast-growing team looking for hard working and talented developers to help originate and build a large pipeline of projects across the country.
Position Summary:
As a Permitting Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing the permitting aspects of greenfield solar and storage projects. From land search efforts to commercial operation, you will work on multiple projects across varied jurisdictions. This position offers a significant level of responsibility, growth potential, and the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team in a rapidly evolving industry.
Requirements
- Oversee and manage local and national permitting processes for multiple projects in diverse jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project development.
- Monitor and manage project development budgets and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery within or under cost constraints.
- Serve as a key point of contact for landowners, investors, and other stakeholders, fostering positive and collaborative relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Studies, Energy, Urban Planning, or similar).
- 0-3 years of experience in energy development, project management, or relevant internships.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
- Experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Project management and stakeholder coordination.
- GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth).
- Understanding of electrical infrastructure.
- Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency with project management software and the MS Office suite.
- Friendly, persuasive, and diligent personality with excellent communication skills.

Estimated Compensation is $65,000-$80,000

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $65,000 and $80,000/Annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Korsail Energy reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Korsail Energy or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
