Full Job Description
The Contractor shall provide assistance in the development of projects and services with supporting engineering calculations to include rough sizing of mechanical systems, piping, ductwork and other facility systems and mechanical components. The proposed support will encompass technical mechanical engineering reviews of approximately four (4) complex multi-discipline designs and the drafting of approximately four (4) Statements of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS) with supporting cost estimates annually. Mechanical engineering services shall include supporting project execution with engineering assistance for technical reviews and providing recommendation / review comments to the Government representative regarding contract status with schedule, and Contractor’s compliance with contracts on an estimated total of twelve (12) individual site visits annually and support for retrofitting and re-commissioning activities for an estimated two (2) locations. These services require access to classified information up to the Secret level and access to NIPR in order to review facilities reports and mission partner documentation. Classified information will be provided verbally or through hard copy reports/documentation.
Requirements
Secret Security Clearance eligible.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
5 years of experience in building mechanical systems for data centers and 2 years of experience commissioning building mechanical systems for critical infrastructure; background in project management.
Must be proficient with office automation software (i.e. MS Office, AutoCAD); Professional Engineering License preferred.
