Role Description
Scout Clean Energy is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and hard-working young professional in the marketing and communications field to join our team next summer as our Marketing Intern. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and the Marketing Associate, our Marketing Intern will be an integral part of our team with a wealth of opportunities to learn and contribute to the company’s brand and presence, particularly through writing skills and content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation of written and designed collateral, including blog posts, one pagers, case studies, and PowerPoint presentations
- Reviewing and copy-editing written content for grammar and spelling
- Gather and analyze data for Scout’s digital platforms, including WordPress, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, and our Email Marketing Platforms
- Create Google Analytics dashboards to organize and track important metrics related to our web assets
- Provide recommendations based on data findings as to future direction of digital content strategy
- Assist in the management and upkeep of the company’s website
- Assist in the creation and tracking of the company’s Search Engine Optimization strategy
- Assist in the organization and management of the company’s internal marketing library
- Work with the People and Culture team to contribute to internal communications and branding
Requirements
Preferred Skills:
- Pursuing or holding a degree in a marketing, communications, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Strong creative mind; ability to think outside of the box
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience with WordPress a plus
- Experience in Google Analytics a plus
- Design skills are a plus
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Timeline and Location
This position will begin in May 2025. The internship will be a full-time (40 hr/week) commitment for the duration of the 12-week internship program. Our ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office during the duration of the internship program per the program requirements.

Compensation
Hourly pay: $25-30/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
