about the Manager of People Operations role:
soona’s Manager of People Operations will work across the company to create exceptional employee experiences, while taking our existing programs to the next level. In this role you’ll flex between hands-on work and interactions with team members and effectively fulfill a broad range of responsibilities with a crew-focused touch. We’re looking for someone who is approachable and trustworthy, who knows when to listen, when to act, and when confidentiality and privacy are the top priorities. You’ll demonstrate and support our crew rules, uphold our beliefs, and champion the business and our crew.
this is a full-time position located in Minneapolis or Denver that will report directly to Jeremy Hein, our VP of Finance.

Requirements
an ideal candidate can:
- Earn trust via your expertise as you advance goals, elevate and evolve our People Ops programs, advise crew members, and troubleshoot operational and people issues
- Balance best practices and compliance while demonstrating adaptability, empathy and the ability to increase relevance of key People Ops processes and activities
- Demonstrate coaching and influencing skills by supporting and advising our managers to develop their capabilities as their HR business partner
- Partner to develop and drive the People Ops roadmap and business objectives
- Build and oversee scalable frameworks and processes to support people operations, performance management, learning & development, employee engagement, and total rewards
- Evaluate and optimize existing HR systems and technology, including working with Rippling (our HRIS and EOR solution) and supporting other integrations for our recruiting, benefits administration and rewards programs
- Support hiring managers with hiring efforts (crafting job descriptions, salary research, ATS support, offer documentation, etc.)
- Leverage metrics and data to inform and measure success and influence change across People Ops programs
has experience in:
- 5+ years in similar roles and looking for a place where you can continue to grow your People Ops career
- managing People Ops programs (performance, benefits renewal, payroll, onboarding, etc.) from start to finish
- strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for the details and a commitment for accurate, timely and effective execution of top priority activities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the drive to take ownership for the development and cultivation of strong relationships
