JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping operations in Fort Collins. In this role, you will supervise a team of housekeeping staff, ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our vacation rental properties, and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage our housekeeping team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Hire, train, and provide ongoing coaching to housekeeping staff.
  • Strategize and implement a comprehensive training program to continuously improve housekeeping skills.
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping schedules across properties, ensuring consistent, high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, cleanings, and laundry tasks to guarantee the highest cleanliness standards and update property documents with detailed cleaning instructions.
  • Oversee inventory, procurement, and distribution of supplies to various properties.
  • Act as a central point of contact for addressing complaints and resolving issues, contributing to overall guest and homeowner satisfaction.
  • Role model, communicate and foster best in class housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Engage actively in team meetings, fostering collaboration across departments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum one year managing large cleaning crews, with three years of hands-on cleaning experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at working with diverse personalities and encouraging a positive team dynamic.
  • Ability to motivate, support, and coach individuals with different cleaning styles through regular training sessions.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Work Order Scheduling Software.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptionally high-quality standards.
  • Experience developing housekeeping and laundry training materials and facilitating training sessions.
  • Partial fluency in Spanish is beneficial for this position.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a large team of in-house and contract cleaners
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 Salary, based on experience
