Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain construction equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and compactors

• Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment for optimal performance

• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques

• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate equipment operations and ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements

• Ability to obtain security clearance

• Proven experience in operating various construction equipment

• Strong understanding of construction processes

• Knowledge of safety protocols

• Excellent interpretative skills for project plans and blueprints

Education Requirements

• Certification in equipment operation is preferred

• Certification in related field (heavy equipment operation)

• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or in a relevant role
