Groundsman

Mr. Stump Tree Service is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Tree Service Groundsman. As a Tree Service Groundsman, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional tree care services to our clients. With a focus on safety and customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and removal of trees in various outdoor settings.

Starting wage from $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the pruning, trimming, and shaping of trees to maintain their health and appearance.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, including chainsaws, wood chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Assist in the removal of trees by cutting them down safely and efficiently.
• Perform tree and stump removals using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Clean up and dispose of debris and branches after completing tree care services.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in tree care or related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and best practices for tree care is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to effectively operate and maintain tree care equipment and machinery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and industry developments.
