Job Description: General Manager

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and supervise all day-to-day operations.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Set policies and implement processes.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Direct the employee assessment process.
- Prepare regular reports for upper management.
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Review and define control points within the manufacturing processes and implement them using inspection plans and quality specifications.
- Work with operators, inspector(s), customers, suppliers, and Process Engineering on questions or issues that arise from general daily activities.
- Maintain knowledge of factory orders daily status and ensure on-time delivery.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing highly detailed work.
- Ability to produce quality work under pressure.
- Familiarity with FMEA, C&E Matrix, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and Error Proofing tools
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100A.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion.
- Strong background in the use and understanding of key quality and manufacturing performance metrics.
- Strong communication skills in English-verbal & written, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Education:
· BS, Business, Management, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· In lieu of above, 6-10 years of technical work experience in electronics manufacturing/engineering or related field.
Experience:
· Prior experience working within printed circuit board (PCB) or electronics manufacturing environments.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Manager or Supervisor
