Full Job Description

As a Crisis Management Lead for Control Risks, you’ll be the strategic force supporting our client's response to critical threats, whether it's natural disasters, security breaches, or other major business disruptions. Your expertise will be vital in identifying potential risks, crafting robust contingency and recovery plans, and ensuring the smooth orchestration of resources during a crisis.

  • Drive The Client’s Crisis Management Program by collaborating with a network of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategize and Execute: Develop, refine, and implement The Client’s Crisis Management Plan, including emergency action and incident response plans.
  • Work closely with The Client’s Enterprise Resilience team to align crisis response efforts across business entities.
  • Establish and guide a dedicated Crisis Response Team, ensuring they are well-trained, informed, and prepared through tabletop exercises and ongoing education.
  • Take charge of Physical Security crisis events, ensuring swift and appropriate actions are taken.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs, including crisis response exercises, incident response training for the Physical Security team, and Executive Protection support.
  • Lead the Crisis Management/Physical Security incident response Business Impact Assessment (BIA) and use the insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop internal and external communication strategies in partnership with communications and public relations teams.
  • Innovate and Expand: Identify, prioritize, and implement enhancements to the crisis management program, ensuring it scales effectively across regions.
  • Utilize metrics and reporting to manage program development and drive growth.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Crisis Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Crisis Management, corporate Physical Security Program Management, Emergency Readiness/Management, Resiliency.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in crisis management best practices within a Physical Security environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering results.
  • Strong program management skills, with a talent for juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time for site assessments and on-site training.

Preferred Training/Certifications:

  • IS-100: An Introduction to ICS
  • IS-700: NIMS, An Introduction
  • IS-200: ICS for Single Resource and Initial Action Incidents
  • ICS-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents
  • ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command
