Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

Requirements

Key Results:

  • Complete 95% of monthly safety project audits within the approved schedule and maintain costs within 3% of the original budget
  • Conduct bi-weekly safety audits with a 100% compliance rate and reduce on-site incidents by 20% year-over-year
  • Resolve 95% of RFIs (Requests for Information) within 5 business days to maintain project momentum.

Main Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Assume total responsibility for a quality-built project while maintaining schedule and budget.
  • Manage and enforce the corporate safety program through the Superintendent.
  • Manage and update the project schedule, schedule recovery.
  • Manage the project budget, budget recovery.
  • Lead and oversee the entire jobsite construction process
  • Control and manage the direction of the project.
  • Monitor the progress, performance, and quality of the project(s).
  • Ensure adherence to building plans, specifications, codes, and regulations.
  • Conduct Owner and Subcontractor meetings.
  • Facilitate and manage critical path activities. Identify and process all Change Orders and changes in scope.
  • Identify and generate RFI’s based on field condition and facilitate rapid and complete responses from the design team.
  • Manage and review Project submittals from subcontractors and submit to the appropriate design consultants.
  • Create, manage, and execute through Superintendent the Project “Punch List”.
  • Coordinate and submit all required signoffs and program documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in either Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Project Management Professional Certification is a plus
  • High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, team oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable working in a rapidly growing organization
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Benefits
