Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete projects.
- Manage and allocate project resources efficiently to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project design and specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress, financial status, and any variances to upper management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively lead diverse groups.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and team members.
