Urban Villages is seeking a full-time Concierge for the SugarCube building in Lower Downtown Denver—a mixed-use property featuring critically acclaimed restaurants, Class AA office space, and 37 luxury apartments.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for hospitality who understands the value of excellent customer service. At Urban Villages, hospitality is central to community building and extends to everyone who visits our properties—not just clients and customers.
The Concierge serves as the first and primary point of contact for our residents, office tenants, and their respective guests. This role is responsible for all concierge-related tasks as described below:
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, office tenants, vendors, contractors, and employees. Respond to inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
- Lead hospitality and sustainability initiatives for tenants in collaboration with the Property Management Team.
- Coordinate, arrange, and execute a wide variety of appropriate personal services for tenants, including but not limited to offsite errands, vendor services (e.g., dry cleaning, car washing), package/mail deliveries, food deliveries, and move-in/out assistance.
- Manage the SugarCube lobby and offices, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and smooth operations, while serving as a representative of Urban Villages, with hospitality as the top priority.
- Assist in the daily scheduling of housekeeping, maintenance, freight elevator and loading dock reservations, vendor deliveries, etc., including follow-up correspondence with the respective departments and tenants/residents.
- Ensure timely and professional communication—both internal and external—via phone, email, text, and in person, while adhering to all communication protocols and policies.
- Follow proper protocols during emergencies or incidents on the property.
- Collaborate with and assist the Property Management, Security, and Maintenance Teams as needed.
- Perform clerical tasks, including financial tracking, updating software and procedures, and maintaining tenant and vendor records in internal systems.
- Stay informed about local attractions, events, dining, and shopping to provide residents with timely and relevant recommendations.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with local businesses and vendors.
- Perform other tasks as necessary to support the Property Management Department and Urban Villages’ corporate goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred (e.g., hospitality management, communications, sustainability).
- Valid and clean Colorado driver’s license.
- Proficient in computer systems and applications (iPhone, Apple OS, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.), with strong digital communication and navigation skills.
- Passion for sustainability and community building.
- A minimum of three years of customer service experience in hospitality-focused industries is preferred (e.g., hotels, residential services, fine dining, or upscale rental operations).
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including written and verbal communication, as well as problem-solving abilities.
- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable demeanor, with the ability to remain positive and composed in a multitasking environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and personal information for all residents and tenants in a professional manner.
