Daycare & Preschool Teacher | Colorado Springs | Full-Time & Part-Time
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Teacher for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs. Full-time and part-time positions are available. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
Lead Teacher starting pay: $16-$18 hour, starting rates based on education and experience.
Higher starting pay for those able to drive a 14 passanger bus in the afternoons.
Assistant Teacher starting pay: $15-$16 hour, starting rates based on experience.
We are looking expand and open more classrooms, plus have openings with room for growth!
Open positions:
Float teacher/ Substitute cook
Toddler teacher
Pre-k teacher
School Age teacher
Float teacher assistant (Pre-k or Toddlers)

Teacher Duties:

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
- Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
- Must have the following qualifications to be considered for a Lead Teacher:
- Early child development college courses in combination with experience
- Completed college degree
- Current CDA
- Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQIT or pyramid plus
- Credential 3.0 level 2 or higher
