Full Job Description
As an Associate Consultant you will be a part of a fast-paced environment helping clients and internal business partners solve complex problems and deliver exceptional results. From day one, you will work side by side with our team of elite consultants and employees to apply and develop your critical thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and business management skills, all while receiving strong mentorship and career development support.
This role will primarily work with our Energy & Utility clients across a portfolio of major generation, transmission and distribution capital projects.
Responsibilities include:
While each day and project will be different, below is a list of some of the typical activities that our Associate Consultants perform on our various project teams:
- Support stakeholder engagement across Pioneer and the client team by leveraging diverse methodologies including meeting facilitation support, key informant interviews, current/future state definition, process mapping, requirements gathering, surveys, etc.
- Support the drafting and development of client-ready project deliverables, typically in PPT and/or XLS formats
- Perform primary and secondary research to provide impactful, actionable insights and recommendations
- Synthesize complex quantitative or qualitative data sets in a simple, intuitive format, and present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Assist with critical project management tasks such as project planning and status reporting
- Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner
- Build positive working relationships with Pioneers and clients to ensure client satisfaction
- Proactively cultivate and expand your professional network
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (master’s preferred)
- Energy industry experience or interest preferred
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively (verbal and written)
- Comfort handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a high-performance team
- High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to effectively expand professional networks through strategic relationship building and engagement
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to do what it takes to deliver excellent work product and customer experiences
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization, from senior executives to individual contributors
- Ability to commute to various clients in the Denver metropolitan area

Requirements
The estimated salary range for this role is $55,000-$75,000 annually. This is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset and years and depth of experience. This may differ from location to location. Bonuses and other incentives are awarded at the Company’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall company performance.
